8/23/14 DISAPPOINTING KKLA MEN's GATHERING @ MARINERS CHURCH

Frank Sontag said on the radio they would try to accomodate walk-ins since registration was sold-out, but when I arrived there was a "waiting list" ...no assurance you would be allowed in. And they were holding the event in the much smaller banquet hall or conference room ...when they could easily accomodate SO MANY MORE in the much larger sanctuary a stone's throw away. They could have had breakfast in the smaller room and then walked over
to the sanctuary for the speaking event.

A CHRISTIAN SISTER SHOULD  CALL ME "BROTHER" NOT "SIR". WHEN i inquired of her about "walk-in" she called me "sir". I thought that was a bit formal considering this was a gathering for Christians. We are brothers & sisters in Christ. But that's what also made me wonder whether a for-profit radio station such as KKLA can maintain a healthy distinction between the faith they are promoting versus the world of advertising they depend upon. Don't get me wrong: I like many things about the Christian aspects of this radio station but the for-profit distinction sometimes worries me. It's too easy for the "bottom line" to become money, rather than faith. I LOVE YOU SISTER! YOU are my sister, right?
